In hard times, it is our duty as humans to help people in need. However, unluckily, the latest Hurricane Harvey had terrible consequences on humanity. Therefore, in the aftermath, responders, volunteers, businesses and residents did everything to help other people in need.
The staff at the Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge also helped people in need. However, Keith Nguyen, a son of Phe Nguyen, shared the story on Facebook as the media did not reported the efforts of his father and uncle to provide meals to the people in need.
Keith stated that his father and uncle have a restaurant in Southeast Texas, which was also affected by the Harvey Hurricane, but it has not been reported by the media. His father and his uncle, together with their staff and other volunteers, prepared 1000 meals for responders and victims of the Harvey Hurricane.
He also added that his father and uncle deserved appreciation even though they do not expect to be given back. Even though they were humble, he thought that they deserve complete appreciation for what they have done. Their restaurant is located in Port Arthur, Texas. So, if you sometimes find yourself there, stop by and express your gratitude for what they have done. They have deserved it. Also, you can share their story on Facebook.
People wrote that thanks to God there are still generous, light-hearted people in the world. They also wrote that words cannot express their thanks and gratitude for what they have done.
Other wrote that Phe Nguyen and Binh Nguyen should be blessed by God for their deed. Everybody should visit their restaurant when in Texas.
According to the Beaumont Enterprise, they inherited their sense of community and work ethic from their father. People thanked Keith for sharing the great deed of his father and uncle and recognizing the faith in humanity.
