Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer arrived on Thursday morning to Congress to appear before the Foreign Relations Commission, where he will report on the situation of nationals in the United States of America with “Immigrant not regular” status.
Upon arrival at the Legislative, he said that 308 Peruvians have deportation order of the United States government and that another 340 are waiting to be expelled. Schialer did not specify when the measure would be executed, but asked to be performed quickly.
The Chancellor plans to explain the actions that our diplomatic mission executes regarding deportation processes from that northern country and the support strategy that the Foreign Ministry implements to host them in the national territory.
To date, 34 nationals have been deported from the United States, and approximately 500 have been intervened in different states of the North American country as part of the reinforcement of migratory policies promoted by the Donald Trump government.

regardless of whether your immigration status is regular or irregular.
9. Financial resources and legal advisory services have increased in immigration matters in favor of nationals, so it is recommended to be in permanent contact with consulates.
