Katy Perry surprised on Sunday (April 27) at Lady Gaga’s second concert in Mexico City, by attending as a fan and becoming a more “Little Monster”, celebrating the artistic greatness of his colleague.
Perry appeared as a spectator at the GNP Seguros stadium (formerly Forum Sol) one night after offering her third show at the Mexico City Arena, which coincided with the first of Lady Gaga. It was accompanied by her team to witness the show locally called “Long live Mayhem!”, Leaving the public stunned in the first rows that recorded the moment in videos shared on social networks.
“The show was magnificated. The dress! The sand! Every moment was he moment. Very proud of you and grateful to grow together, Lady Gaga. I love you, ”Perry said hours later on her Instagram Stories. The Californian star also shared some videos on Instagram during the Gaga concert, in which she is appreciated singing and enjoying the show.
On March 3 Lady Gaga announced his expected return to the Mexican capital for April 26, ending an absence of 13 years. Four months earlier, Perry had visited Mexico to announce that he would start his world tour The Lifeses Tour in the Mexican capital with three shows, the last of which coincided with the first of his colleague. They were both Sold-out.
Lady Gaga and Katy Perry debuted both in 2008, just a few days apart. The first launched the song “Just dance” of his album The Fameand the second went out with “I Kisse to Girl” from One of the Boys. In 2013 a similar coincidence occurred when both prepared the launch of the singles “Applause” and “Roar”, respectively, published the same day (August 12).
Lady Gaga offered her second concert at the GNP Seguros stadium on Sunday before traveling to Brazil, the second international and Latin American stop of her new tour, where the artist will hold a massive free concert on May 3 on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry will perform on Monday and Tuesday (April 28 and 29) in the northern city of Monterrey to close the tour in Mexico of her new tour The Lifeses Tour. Due to construction problems of the Guadalajara sand, whose works were not completed at times, the shows scheduled in that city for May 1 and 2 had to be canceled.
