Taylor Swift, cited as a witness in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

New York, May 9 (EFE) .- Pop star Taylor Swift has been summoned as a witness in the legal battle between actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni for the conflicts derived from her film ‘It ends with us’, which will be settled in a trial in 2026, according to TMZ on Friday.
The Portal de Farándula, which quotes knowledgeable sources of the matter, indicates that Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, has cited as a witness to Swift, whose only participation in the film is the authorship of a song of the soundtrack, ‘My Tears Ricochet’, but that she is the intimate friend of Lively.
Swift representatives told the media that the singer’s only connection with the film was that musical license and argued that the citation as a witness seeks to “attract public interest creating a bait of clicks for tabloids instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”
The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni, who were co -star of ‘It Ends With Us’, dates back to the late 2024, when the actress denounced the actor and also director of the tape for sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviors during filming, and the conflict has only grows.
Lively subsequently accused Baldoni and her producer, Wayfarer, of executing a plan to damage her reputation after the complaint of sexual harassment, and in turn they sued the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds, together with her publicist, for trying to “destroy” her career.
Amid the accusations, Lively published an article in The New York Times about his complaint before the California Civil Rights Department, against which Baldoni lashed out.
The crossing of lawsuits, which includes a claim of 400 million dollars from Baldoni to Lively, will call the courts on March 9, 2026.
