The children of Shakira, Milan (12) and Sasha (10), surprised the public with the premiere of their first musical single entitled ‘The One’, a fresh and emotional audiovisual proposal that marks its incursion into the artistic world, with the support of the Sony Music Latin label.
The video clip, now available on digital platforms, shows the little ones playing on the beach with the young singer Mila V, who also participates in the song. Subsequently, the scenes transfer the spectators to an intimate and youthful environment: a meeting of friends where music, friendship and adolescent innocence are intertwined in a hopeful message and full of emotions.
Sasha, with a firm and expressive voice, interprets the verses in English:
“They say I’m too young to feel, but I see you and it’s so clear.
My heart wants you to say how much I worry about you.
They say there is a long time to lose, but hey, I just want to take advantage of the day … “
The theme, of youthful pop style, portrays the feelings of a young man in love – represented by Sasha – who tries to express his love in all possible ways, while receiving a sincere response from the girl who has captivated him. For his part, Milan looks on the battery, marking the pace with precision and charisma.
Although ‘The One’ does not correspond to a commercial launch for lucrative purposes, the quality of the project has been widely recognized by both criticism and public.
