While Shakira prepares to start her tour “Women no longer cry” in the United States, their children Milan and Sasha have taken their first steps in the world of music. The children, the result of their relationship with former soccer player Gerard Piqué, presented their first original theme last weekend, entitled The One, during a gala in Miami organized by the Let It Beat Academy Foundation.

With only 12 and 10 years respectively, Milan not only wrote the song, but also interprets it as the main vocalist, while Sasha debuted in the drums. The presentation was part of the Next Generation of Artists program, promoted by the same foundation and focused on supporting emerging talents between 10 and 20 years.

The single, a collaboration with singer Mila V., was produced by Argentine musicians Guillermo Vadalá and Nerina Nicotra, founders of Let It Beat Academy. The theme is now available on digital platforms such as YouTube, where it has exceeded 200,000 visualizations, and is part of the album All for You, a compilation of new artists released by the organization.

Through its social networks, Shakira shared a fragment of the video clip accompanied by an emotional message: “What a nicest gift for this day!”, Referring to Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in several countries, including the United States.

The Colombian artist will begin on Tuesday her expected tour in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the special participation of the Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz. The Tour will tour different American cities until the end of June, and will resume in August with a series of concerts in Mexico, including stops in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara, among others.
