To everyone’s surprise, a collaboration between the universe of Harry Potter and the famous Japanese manga and anime series, Detective Conanhas been announced, generating great expectation among both fandoms.
The news was revealed through the Harry Potter X account, where a poster was shown that recreates an iconic poster from the saga, this time starring the characters of Detective Conan, with Conan Edogawa taking Harry’s place.
However, this amazing advertisement is limited to that image, since more details about the content of the project have not yet been revealed. From within the two communities they point to two theories: on the one hand this announcement is related to a possible episode of the sleeve where some kind of crossover occurs between both sagas. Another theory circulating among fandoms suggests that the collaboration could materialize in a joint event within the attractions of Universal Studios in Osaka. So far the only thing that has been launched is a fan art event with prizes.

A cross between magic and mystery
Detective Conan, with more than 1,150 episodes and a manga that has been in publication since 1994, is a living example of the longevity and relevance of a well-constructed work. On the other hand, Harry Potter is not far behind in relevance, also preparing its return through a series scheduled for 2027 on the HBO platform. If this unexpected collaboration between these two great universes is completed, a new milestone will be marked within both sagas that will serve to highlight their cultural impact within society.
