Justin Baldoni states that Blake Lively threatened Taylor Swift at the escalation of the legal battle of ‘It ends with us’

Justin Baldoni’s lawyers have made new demolish statements in their case against Blake Lively.
On Wednesday, Baldoni’s team presented a document stating that the “It Ends With Us” actress threatened her intimate friend, Taylor Swift, if she did not publicly support Lively during her legal battle against her co -star, People reported.
Lively’s lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, shared a statement with Fox News Digital in which he described Baldoni’s statement as “categorically false.”
“We unequivocally denied all these supposed accusations, which cowardly come from alleged anonymous sources and are completely disconnected from reality. This is what we have expected from the lawyers of the Wayfarer matches, to whom nothing seems to like to shoot first, without any evidence, and without worrying about the people they harm in the process, “Gottlieb said.
“We will present imminent ways to the court so that these lawyers pay accounts for their misconduct in this case.”
On Wednesday, Lively’s lawyers presented a motion in which they asked the court to annul the accusations for considering them “unfounded, unnecessary, inadmissible and abusive”as declared Fox News Digital.
“It should not be necessary to respond to anonymous accusations, unfounded and recklessly formulated without any evidence that supports them. However, it should be recorded that each and every one of the accusations of Freedman’s letter are unequivocal and demonstrably false. From the legal point of view, Freedman’s letter is inadmissible,” wrote the legal team of Lively.
The Baldoni team wrote on May 14 that he thinks that citing Swift is necessary for this case.
“The insistence of the defendants Lively in which the citation seeks irrelevant information is wrong,” wrote Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman.
Freedman wrote that he received a squeaky from an “anonymous source that is very likely to have reliable information.” Freedman said the source told him that Lively asked Swift to erase specific text messages.
Freedman also claimed that Lively’s lawyers contacted Swift’s legal team “and demanded that Mrs. Swift make public a statement of support to Mrs. Lively.” He also said that “they hinted that if Mrs. Swift refused to do so, private text messages would be made public in possession of Mrs. Lively.”
Fox News Digital has contacted the representatives of Baldoni and Swift to comment.
On May 9, Swift was summoned as a witness in the legal battle Lively-Faldoni. Shortly after making the news public, a Swift spokesman denied that the pop star had any relationship with the 2024 film, apart from the license of his song “My Tears Ricochet”, which appeared in the trailer of the film and was used in a scene.
“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie. He did not participate in any casting or in any creative decision. He did not make the film score. He never saw a montage or took notes on the movie. He didn’t even see ‘it ends with us’ until weeks after his public premiere and was traveling around the world for 2023 and 2024, leading the greatest tour of the story,” He previously declared the Swift representative to Fox News Digital.
“The connection Taylor had with this movie was to allow the use of a song, ‘My Tears Ricochet,” added the spokesman. “Since its involvement was to authorize a song for the film, which also made another 19 artists, this citation of documents is designed to use the name of Taylor Swift in order to attract the interest of public opinion creating sensationalism instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”
Lively and Baldoni starred together the romantic drama “It Ends With Us”, based on Colleen Hoover of 2016 and released in August 2024. After a press tour full of rumors about problems between them, Baldoni and Lively sued each other.
In January, Baldoni accused Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of civil extortion, defamation and other crimes in a demand of 400 million dollars, in which she mentioned Swift.
The demand of the “Jane The Virgin” star followed the demand that Lively submitted in December accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment during the filming of “It Ends With Us”. However, Baldoni insisted that Lively had “falsely” accused him of an attempt to repair his reputation for the consequences of the film’s press tour after he allegedly took control of it.
In an attempt to prove his statements that Lively had taken control of the production of the film, Baldoni’s legal team suggested that the actress had used her friendship with the world -famous Swift to threaten him. While working in the movie, Lively insisted on rewriting the infamous roof scene. Baldoni doubted the idea, but told the actress that “she would take a look at what she had prepared,” according to the complaint.
Then, Lively invited Baldoni to his house in New York, where the actor said he felt that Swift and Reynolds had pressed him to use the re -written scene.
“Later, Baldoni felt forced to send a text message to Lively to tell him that he had liked his pages and that he had not needed that Reynolds and his friend Megacelebrity pressed him,” said the complaint.
“I love what you have done. It really helps. It makes it much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt like that without Ryan and Taylor (emoji) are really a full -fledged talent. Really excited and (sic) grateful to do this together,” said Baldoni’s text, according to the complaint.
Lively shared a long response, referring to Swift and Reynolds as “dragons” that protect it.
Both parties have not given any indication that they intend to reach an extrajudicial agreement. The legal conflict is expected to judge before a New York court in March 2026.
