Bad Bunny makes history of Shakira record in the CDMX

2025 is emerging as one of the most successful years in the career of Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican artist, known for breaking stereotypes and bringing his music beyond generations and borders, has generated an unprecedented phenomenon in Mexico with his tour “I had to throw more photos.”

After a successful residence in Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny announced two initial dates, on December 10 and 11 in the GNP Seguros Stadium (Old Forum Sol). The public’s response was overwhelming: the tickets were sold out in minutes, collapsing the Ticketmaster platform. The demand led to six additional dates: 12, 15, 16, 19, 20 and December 21. With this, the artist adds eight concerts in Mexico City, a milestone that positions him as the soloist with more presentations in that enclosure.

This achievement even exceeds Shakira, who had marked the pattern with seven consecutive concerts in March 2025. Although the Colombian was the first to reach that figure, Bad Bunny has broken that brand, becoming the new referent in terms of presentations records at the Gnp Seguros stadium.

The list of artists with more concerts in this stadium also appears Firm Group with seven dates between 2022 and 2023, RBD with six in 2023, and Daddy Yankee with five in 2022. Other big names like Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Metallica and The Rolling Stones have appeared four times.

This new record consolidates Bad Bunny as one of the most influential and important artists of the last decade, demonstrating the global impact of his music and his close connection with the Mexican public.
