The wait ended for fans of Shakira and Alejandro Sanz who yearned to see them together. Two decades after revolutionizing Latin music with successes such as ‘La Tortura’ and ‘I thank you, but not’, the iconic duo returns with a new collaboration entitled ‘Kiss me’.
The song will be available on digital platforms This May 23but there is already an advance circulating. This is how the choir says:

The theme is part of Alejandro Sanz’s new EPa work that explores new sounds without losing the romantic essence that has characterized it. It is, in fact, the first one that launches with Sony Music Spain.
In addition to Shakira, Work includes collaborations with Border Group and the Colombian Manuel Turizowho publicly thanked Sanz for the opportunity: “You fulfilled me a dream, teacher”he wrote on Instagram.
On this new project, Sanz reflected: “And now what? It is the question that I ask myself every time you have to take a new step forward. It is the question that promotes every creative decision that I take. Creating is always a challenge, a challenge that begins with a written idea on a paper.”
After launch, the artist will start a Tour of Mexicowhere he has exhausted four dates in the National Auditorium of CDMX And, due to the high demand, he announced two more. It will also be presented in cities such as Puebla, Monterrey and Mérida.

A duo with history
Musical chemistry between Shakira and Sanz is well known. His first collaboration was ‘La Tortura’ (2005)a global success that marked a milestone in its careers. Years later they repeated with ‘I thank you, but not’included in the album ‘The train of moments’ (2006) of Spanish.
Recently, the two artists interpreted ‘the torture’ live in the Bank of America Stadiumand the reunion was viral for the words that Sanz dedicated to the Barranquilla: “Shaki: I tell you the truth? … Not even with all the coffee of Colombia I take away your aroma.”
The new song arrives at a key moment for both, consolidating its legacy as two of the most influential artists of Latin pop.
