The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has revived his dispute with Taylor Swift with a new attack on social networks. We tell you what happened this time.
Trump’s new attack
In a publication made on his social truth network, Trump wrote:
“Has anyone realized that since I said ‘I hate Taylor Swift!’, She is no longer ‘popular’?”
The comment was made without any context after concluding a four-day diplomatic trip through the Middle East and, although he did not offer evidence to support his statement, he put the artist again at the center of the political-cultural debate in the United States.

A confrontation that comes from afar
The tension between Trump and Swift intensified during the presidential elections of 2024. In September of that year, after a presidential debate, the singer publicly expressed her support for Kamala Harris with a message on Instagram aimed at her more than 230 million followers:
“I am voting for @kamalaharris because it defends the rights and causes that a brave leader need. I think it is firm, talented, and that achieves much more than chaos.”
As expected, she lashed out against the singer with comments from hate (as with everything that is not within her ideology). Later, Trump responded in Truth Social: “I hate Taylor Swift!”, Phrase that would mark the beginning of her personal campaign against the artist.
Another of the remembered altercations happened in April During a ceremony in the White House for the Super Bowl champions, when Trump launched another indirect commenting in an ironic tone about the presence of Swift, who attended in support of his partner, Travis Kelce, player of the Kansas City Chiefs, rival team of the Eagles of Philadelphia.
