Includes ‘The tale of the maid’ new rola of Taylor Swift

Mexico City.- A re -registered and unpublished version of the main reputation single, “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift, was included in the most recent episode of the successful series The Tale of the maid (The Handmaid’s Tale), which would give indications that a new album of the singer could be close to being released.

In a scene of this chapter, released in the United States this May 19, the new version is reproduced while a group of women, led by June Osbourne (Elisabeth Moss), avoids some trucks bomb while organizing their rebellion.

The program and executive producer of the program declared Billboard that it was an “honor” to be able to use one of Swift’s unpublished songs at such a crucial moment in the series. “I’ve been wanting to use a Taylor song on the program for many years and finally we find the perfect moment for a song,” Moss said Tuesday. “And I am very happy to have expected because there could not be a more perfect song for a more perfect moment.”

The new version of Taylor of “Look What You Made” perfectly recreates the synthesizers and the original sample of “I’m Too Sexy”, by Right Said Fred, but also includes its updated voice, which emphasizes certain phrases, in addition to other slight changes.

Moss, who led Episode 9, commented that he asked Wendy Hallam Martin, editor of The Tale of the maid, to ask her to add a Swift song to the episode. “I told my editor, Wendy: ‘I really want to find a place for a Taylor song in the last two episodes of the series.’ We wanted to find a musical tail for the beginning of episode 9, and all the merit is from Wendy for choosing this song for this moment!” Explained the actress.
