Kourtney Kardashian He says he prefers to go “against the current” when it comes to living life and raising his children.
While I was invited in the Khloé Kardashian podcast “Khloé in Wonder Land,” Kourtney spoke about being the mother of her 18 -month -old son, Rocky – who shares with her husband, Travis Barker – And of his three children with his ex Scott Disick: 15 -year -old Mason, Penelope, 12, and Reign of 10 years.
“I think living authentically is not to settle for anything,” Kourtney explained. “For me, there are ways in which we function as a family that is like, if someone does the same every day, as I do with everything, it is not (alone) of our family.”
Kourtney is also the stepmother of Barker’s children. The musician is the father of his son Landon, 21, his daughter Alabama, 19, and his stepdaughter Atiana, 25, all who shares with his ex -wife Shanna Moakler.
“Let’s say the school system. I will think, ‘Why c ***** the children go to school?’ Actually, he is so outdated, ”Kourtney continued with Khloé. Although he did not give details of why he feels that obtaining a traditional education is “outdated”, it was an example with which Khloé agreed.
“Oh, I’m so home to HomeSchool, so you don’t even start,” he agreed.
“Then I begin to think, and then, you know, my children will send me videos about, such as, why do children go to (school)? ‘They will be like really successful people, and they will say,’ My children never go to school and they will never go ‘and whatever,” said Kourtney. “And then I think, ‘ok, what is the goal here? Do you want to do school at home? Let’s do it.”
Kourtney said the same thing happens with his most holistic approach to treat common diseases as well.
“I think it’s with anything. I, for example, prefer to take care of my children’s fever instead of giving them Tylenol or ibuprofen. Simply, that’s what I want to do. And well, there are many things like that when I feel that, in general, maybe in the world you do more what I do, but in the United States (it is different).”
The sisters ended their conversation on the subject when they were interrupted by a facetime call from Kim Kardashianwho was preparing for the met gala.
