The singer Taylor Swift It has been officially outside the legal process between actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, who star in a judicial dispute related to the movie It Ends with Us. According to American media, Baldoni’s legal team withdrew the request for citation to the pop star, who had been mentioned due to its proximity to Lively, but whose participation in the film project was minimal.
A Blake Lively spokesman confirmed the decision, expressing satisfaction for the measure. “We are happy that Baldoni’s legal team has retired his citation of harassment to Taylor Swift and his law firm,” he said. In addition, they insisted that from the beginning the artist tried to take advantage of her fame, although she had no active participation in production. Swift, according to his team, did not attend the set, did not intervene in creative decisions or saw the film until weeks after its premiere. His only connection with the film was the license of a song that appears in the soundtrack.
Last week, the case took another turn when Baldoni’s team accused Lively of threatening to reveal private messages with Swift if he did not support her publicly. However, the judge dismissed the document for considering it “improper” and “irrelevant” for the case in question. The trial, which will begin on March 9, 2026, continues its course and keeps the entertainment industry expectant.
The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni originated at the end of 2024, when the actress denounced the actor and director for sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior during filming. Since then, the accusations have climbed, including a claim of 400 million dollars. Baldoni and his producer, Wayfarer, responded with a contrademand against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist, claiming a campaign to damage her career.
