The elected bishop of Mar del Plata, Monsignor Ernesto Giobando SJaddressed a message to tourists who visit the city during the summer, highlighting the importance of the holidays as a period conducive to introspection, connection with family and prayer.
“From the Catholic Church, we want to welcome you to our cities and towns on the Atlantic Coast. Mar del Plata and the other towns are very beautiful places, where people work with effort and cordiality to offer you the best experience,” said Giobando.
Monsignor Giobando invited tourists to enjoy this special time with a more spiritual perspective. “Vacation is an opportunity to look at your heart, connect with your deepest self, like this sea, and be grateful for the gifts of life, family, work and rest.”he pointed out.
In this way, he suggested that visitors go to a church or take advantage of the serenity of the beach to pray the Holy Rosary while walking. “What beautiful moments of prayer, enjoy them!” he added.
