It all happened on the night of May 20 at the Bell Center, in front of thousands of fans. Shakira, barefoot and wearing pants with long braces, stumbled during his choreography and fell to the ground. But instead of stopping or running, the artist got up as if nothing, shook with a smile and continued dancing. The public exploded in applause and ovations.
The incident was captured by dozens of cell phones and soon went viral on social networks. “Not anyone falls with so much style and gets up with more grace,” fans said in X (formerly Twitter), where videos, memes and messages circulated celebrating the singer’s professionalism.
Far from taking it badly, Shakira shared with humor in his Instagram stories: “I tell them. It is that nobody is saved from the falls.” And in another image of the fall, he joked: “Look at her. Do not tell me that I am not like an angel flying.”
Fortunately, the fall did not go to older and Shakira is in perfect condition. In fact, he continued with the show as if nothing, even releasing phrases in French to connect with the local public. Powerful and polygon!
