“Kiss me”: the new song that united Alejandro Sanz and Shakira after 18 years of his last collaboration

In the last hours, the artist Alejandro Sanz He launched on all digital platforms his new song “Besame” in which he sings next to Shakiraafter 18 years of his last collaboration in a musical project.

In addition, the theme is part of his most recent album “And now what?”, In which he not only appears accompanied by the Barranquillera, but also of the interpreter Manuel Turizo and the Mexican band Grupo Frontera.

However, the union of the “Loba” and Sanz had been previously announced by the Spanish days after participating as a special guest of the Colombian in her tour “Women no longer cry World Tour”, which began their second stage at the Bank of America Stadium, in Charlotte, United States, on May 13.

After his presentation in the North American territory, the artist revealed through his social networks that one of the surprises he would have prepared for fans in his new album was a collaboration with Shakira.

Although the song does not yet have a music video, a few hours after its launch, it has already managed to gather more than 260,000 views and about 24,000 reactions.

With a black and white photograph by Alejandro Sanz and Shakira, in which they are embraced, the melody begins to sound while the Spanish says: “I tell you the truth. If life is pretty, you and they are so similar. In the end I do not dare to let the destiny decide.”

Subsequently, the voice of the Barranquilla is heard mentioning: “I warn you. In case you not noticed, this is no longer a joke. Neither with all the coffee of Colombia, I take off your aroma,” referring to the emotional dedication that made her colleague in the United States concert.

“Do not think so much and kiss me. The mysteries are over. Kiss me at once,” adds the interpreter in the musical project as a answer to the statements of the “wolk.”

Another detail that can be seen in the song is the combination of the characteristic flamenco of Sanz and the sounds of Afrobeat, the genre with which the Barranquilla has been experiencing in recent years.

With this new proposal, artists tried to find a reason to join once again and create a topic that not only evidenced the chemistry they share, but also turns out to be surprising and different for people.
