Originally scheduled as a two -hour presentation starting at 8 pm, Shakira’s show started around 8:30 pm and lasted 90 minutes. The public, who had dispersed rapidly after the featherweight show, began to return to find a good place and the empty areas were filled, especially when the main stage lights lit.

Shakira’s public was multigenerational, which is remarkable since dreams focuses on a younger audience, perhaps inclined towards generation Z. Many women present paid tribute to Shakira using their characteristic belts of Belly Dancing. And the Colombians proudly wave their flags, eager to listen to “La Loba” howl.

“I really wanted to be with you tonight,” Shakira said smiling in a mixture of Spanish and English. “This is incredible. This city, Wow, I am in love with this city, it is so beautiful. Thank you for making me feel at home. There is definitely no better reunion than that of a wolf with its pack. Chicago, tonight, we are one.”

Although it is difficult to replicate a stage of stadiums at a festival, it can be said safely that Shakira gave his Chicago fans an unforgettable night. Quickly changing from a bright white Jumpit and large black glasses to a pink dress with shine, the singer of “bare feet”, accompanied by a fierce group of dancers, started with successes that included “Girl Like Me”, “Those of Intuition”, “I am here”, “Inevitable”, “I congratulate you”, “tqg” and “Don’s.

“In recent years they have not been easy for me; from the falls nobody is saved. But if I have learned something is that the fall is not the end but a higher flight. We, the women, we lift a little stronger every time we fall, more wise,” said Shakira, referring to the empoweror theme of his era the women no longer cry, inspired by healing after a healing.

During his 90 -minute set, Shakira flaunted his hypnotizing dance and choreography, including his incomparable belly dance in “Eyes like this” and the steps of champeta and calipso during “Waka Waka.” But a favorite moment for fans was when Shakira reviewed her rock roots, singing “bare feet, white dreams” and “anthology.”

Of course, he closed with the global success “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53”, putting all women present to sing at every lung, ending an epic reunion between a wolf and its herd.

Dreams continues on Sunday (May 25) with Grupo Frontera and Don Omar as poster heads. Meanwhile, the Tour women no longer cry of Shakira has close stops planned in Boston, Atlanta, Miami and Los Angeles.
