“We have authorized the Metropolitan Police to accuse Russell Brand for the allegations made after the publication of a documentary in Channel 4 in September 2023,” the Crown Prosecutor’s Office (CPS) announced in April.
Brand is accused of the violation of a woman in 1999 in Bournemouth, on the southern coast of England, while the other positions refer to events that occurred in the Westminster area, in downtown London, in 2001, 2004 and 2005.
After her marriage to Katy Perry, who lasted 14 months, between 2010 and 2012, Brand married the author and illustrator Laura Gallacher, with whom she has three children.
