Russell Brand, ex -husband of Katy Perry, declares himself “not guilty” of five crimes of sexual violence

The British actor and comedian Russell Brand declared this Friday “not guilty” of the five positions for crimes of sexual aggression and violation of those who accuse him of four women in the United Kingdom.
In a preliminary session of the process that follows against the interpreter in the Court of the Crown of Southwark, in downtown London, Brand responded “not guilty” to the reading of each of the accusations that were read against him for crimes that were supposedly committed between 1999 and 2005.
At the audience, The judge decreed that the trial began on June 3, 2026 in this same Court and that it lasts for eight weeks, until July 25.
The London Metropolitan Police presented the charges against Brand in April and on May 2 a court put it on probation.
The 49 -year -old ‘Get Him To The Greek’ interpreter appeared today with a serious face flanked by two agents and got up to respond to each position that appeared against him.
Brand is accused of raping a woman in a room during the celebration of the annual congress of the Labor Party in Borunemouth (southern England) and handling a woman’s breasts before dragging her into a bathroom to force her to perform oral sex.
He is also charged to have grabbed a radio worker, to have pushed her against a wall and have kissed her and handled without her consent.
Finally the actor He is accused of assaulting a woman to which he grabbed his arm and tried to put against his will in a sink.
All these crimes, of those who accuse him of four women, took place between 1999 and 2005.
Police began investigation in September 2023, after receiving several complaints following the revelations released in the program ‘Dispatches’ of Channel 4 and the newspaper ‘The Sunday Times’.
