This disconcerting story came to light thanks to the program TVN driven by Carlos Pinto. For its first season, in 1999, chapter 8 was released, “The journey”which told the story of Rigoberto Vergara thanks to the interview of a key witness.
Rigoberto was a family man who He worked for more than 30 years in a mining company. He didn’t have many friends, he was quiet and had no vices.

As with the death of any person, his family struggled to continue their lives and, eight years laterone of the daughters hears a knock on the door.
With her son in her arms, the young woman receives none other than her father at the entrance. With his same shirt, pants and newspaper under his arm, just as he last saw him the morning he disappeared. But, even more surprising, he had not aged.
She wasn’t the only one dislocated for the situation. Rigoberto did not understand why his daughter looked so big, why the furniture in his home had changed places, or who that baby he was carrying was.
For him it had been a couple of hours, for the rest of the world, eight years.
The most disconcerting thing was discovering that he didn’t remember anything that happened. According to his version, the last thing he remembers is leaving his house that morning, like any other day. For him, everything that came after is a complete empty.
The lack of memories about his whereabouts during those eight years left everyone with more questions than answers. Where was he? What happened to him? Why didn’t he age? How is it possible that his entire body and mind were still intact?
What could be the discovery of the century
Carlos Pinto carried out the investigation of this case thanks to the testimonies of Andrés Barros, parapsychologist and friend of Rigoberto who was present for his disappearance and return.
In addition to telling the details of the mystery, Barros declared that his friend was quite distressed by what had happened and that, Despite having agreed to undergo regressive hypnosis therapy, he eventually regretted it.
