Cardi B loses judgment against her husband and must pay her maintenance

A judge in Georgia ordered Cardi B to pay offset pension for income difference. The shared custody of his children was also defined.

The divorce between Cardi B and Offset has taken an unexpected turn. A judge in Georgia ruled that the rapper must pay marital maintenance to his ex -husband, a decision that has generated surprise in the entertainment world.

Although both artists enjoy great fortunes, the court considered that there was a patrimonial imbalance between the parties.

Offset, a member member, initially seemed to accept a separation without financial claims.

However, he changed posture and requested financial support. His legal team argued that, although he is also a millionaire, his fortune is significantly less than Cardi B.

Estimates suggest that the rapper has between 80 and 100 million dollars, while the heritage of Offset Round the 30 million.

The court did not reveal the exact figure of the pension, but it did establish that Cardi B must make periodic payments.

Georgia’s law allows this type of compensation when there is a considerable economic difference, even if both involved have high income.

In addition, the judge decided that the legal custody of the children will be shared, although they will live mainly with Cardi B. This measure was suggested by the offset itself, who said the children would find more stability with their mother.

Regarding legal expenses, both parties will cover their own, as agreed at the beginning of the process. No change was made at this point.

People close to the case claim that Offset made this decision because they are not willing to reduce their lifestyle.

Although he has its own income, he argued that the luxurious life he carried during the marriage justifies his request.

Until now, neither Cardi B nor offset have publicly commented on the judicial resolution.
