The tattoo says “Muse” and was made by the artist Michelle Santana, of Bang Bang Tattoo, in New York. Santana shared a photo of the result in her social networks, accompanied by the message: “Queen @mileycyrus, Grateful to have met such a g.” In the comments, fans soon react with messages like “The Queen of Tattoo” and “She is my muse.”

According to the Page Six media, everything indicates that this design could be dedicated to a very special person in Miley’s life: his mother, Tish Cyrus. In April, the artist published on Instagram an intimate video in which she played the song End of the World in the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. In that post, he wrote: “On tonight I was singing only for the person for whom I wrote it. My muse, my mom. Xmiley.”

Although this new tattoo has an emotional meaning, Cyrus has been very honest about how it feels about many of the designs it carries on the skin.

In an interview with The New York Times, when he was asked what is an error that he still regrets, he responded bluntly: “80 percent of my tattoos.”
