Great conquest. Taylor Swift bought the masters of his first six albums and regained control of his music

It was an old desire for the American Popstar, who had re -recorded four of those titles. Here, the back room of the operation.
Taylor Swift has regained control of his entire work.
In an extensive note published on its official website on Friday, Swift announced: “All the music I have created now belongs to me.”
The American singer claimed to have bought her catalog of recordings (originally published through Big Machine Records) to her last owner, the private capital firm Shamrock Capital. He did not reveal the amount.
In recent years, Swift has been re -recording and launching its first six albums in an attempt to recover control of its music.
“I greatly thank you for helping me to meet again with this art that I have dedicated my life, but that until now I had not belonged to me,” Swift addressed his fans in the publication.
“The best thing that has been mine … Finally,” he finished.
“We are delighted with this result and very happy for Taylor,” said Shamrock Capital in another statement.
Swift’s regrabations were driven by the sale of their initial catalog by Hybe America Executive Director, Scooter Braun, and represent Swift’s effort to control their own songs and how they are used.
The previous launches of Taylor’s version have been more than conventional re -regions, arriving with new “archive” music, hidden and visual surprises that deepen the understanding of their work.
“I’m glad for her,” Braun said Friday.

He has also released new music, including The Tortured Poets Department, last year, announced during the Grammy 2024 and released during his last tour.
To date, four re -registered albums have been published, starting with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021. The four have been a mass commercial and cultural success, and each debuted in number 1 of Billboard 200.
The last Swift Regrabation, 1989 (Taylor’s version), was published in October 2023, just four months after the launch of Speak Now (Taylor’s version). That same year, Swift won the woman’s record with more albums number 1 in history.
Fans have theorized that reputation (Taylor’s version) would be the following: May 19, What You Made Me do (Taylor’s version) was broadcast almost complete during the initial scene of an episode of the sixth season of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Before that, the song had anticipated in the Miniseries of Wilderness of Prime Video in 2023 and in The Dynsty: New England Patriots of Apple TV+ in 2024. Also in 2023, he contributed delicate (Taylor’s version) to The Summer I Turned Pretty of Prime Video.
But according to the shared note on Friday, Swift states that it has not even re -recorded a quarter.
However, he said that he has completely re -recorded his homonymous debut album and pointed out that he loves how it sounds now.
Swift wrote that both his homonymous debut album and reputation (Taylor’s version) “can still have their time to resurface when it is the right time.”
