The VI Day of Mystery arrives one more year
On February 1, the Victoria Theater in Talavera de la Reina will be the scene of a unique event that mixes culture, enigmas and solidarity, organized by the Talavera Ocultura Association. All proceeds will go to ASEM Castilla-La Mancha.
Mystery and solidarity: an essential event
The VI Day of Mystery in Talavera de la Reina, organized by the Talavera Oculture Association, returns with a proposal that promises to captivate lovers of the unknown and the enigmatic. With a single price of 10 euros, this event, in addition to offering an unforgettable cultural experience, has a charitable purpose: to raise funds for the Association of Neuromuscular Diseases of Castilla-La Mancha (ASEM CLM).
The event will take place on Saturday, February 1 at the Victoria Theater in Talavera and will feature the participation of renowned experts who will explore topics such as the devil in ceramics, haunted houses, dark dreams and extraterrestrial phenomena.
A program full of enigmas in Talavera
The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be structured in two sessions, with a break at noon.
morning session
- 11:00 a.m. – The devil in Talavera ceramics
- Speaker: Juan Carlos Albarrán, ceramist and founder of the Talavera Ceramic Center.
- Description: An analysis of the symbology of the devil in traditional Talavera ceramics, revealing the legends associated with this art.
- 12:00 h – Haunted houses in Spain
- Speaker: Javier Prado, illustrator and folklore specialist.
- Description: A historical tour of haunted houses in Spain, demonstrating that this phenomenon is not exclusive to recent times.
- 1:00 p.m. – Dreams and their dark secrets
- Speaker: Sére Skuld, artist, disseminator and creator of the podcast ‘Misterios y Cubatas’.
- Description: Exploration of the hidden side of dreams and its relationship with magical and symbolic beliefs.
Afternoon session
- 5:00 p.m. – The eternal quest for immortality
- Speaker: Lorenzo Fernández Bueno, journalist, writer and director of the program ‘El Colegio Invisible’ (Onda Cero).
- Description: A journey through history and the cultures that have pursued the dream of eternal life.
- 6:00 p.m. – UFOs and historical enigmas
- Speaker: Josep Guijarro, journalist and collaborator of ‘La Rosa de los Vientos’.
- Description: A talk that will address the most fascinating historical enigmas and their possible connection with beings from other worlds.
Live recording: special closing
Finally, for the first time in Talavera, the team from the radio program ‘El Colegio Invisible’ will record a live episode. Hosted by Lorenzo Fernández Bueno and Laura Falcó, it will feature the participation of notable collaborators such as Josep Guijarro, Juan José Sánchez-Oro, Jesús Ortega, and some more surprises.
In addition to offering a fascinating program, the VI Day of Mystery reaffirms its social commitment by allocating all proceeds to ASEM Castilla-La Mancha, supporting people affected by neuromuscular diseases.
