The time to return to the land of ‘Oz’because Universal Studios finally revealed the first official trailer of ‘Wicked: Forever’, the second part of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical that tells the story of the evil witch of the West and how it became the main enemy of the ‘Magician of Oz’.
Through the official social networks of Universal, Jon M. Chu showed the first advance of the film, where we see ‘Glinda’ (Ariana Grande) turned into the southern witch, the main ally of the magician (Jeff Goldblum), and enjoying his high position in the Emerald City, which fears a rebellion by ‘Elphaba’ and the speakers.
The final chapter of this fantasy story begins with ‘Elphaba’ and ‘Glinda’ separate and facing the consequences of their decisions. Elphaba (Cynthia Erico), now known as the evil wrse of the West, lives exile while fighting to free Oz animals and expose the truth about the magician, while ‘Glinda’ prepares to marry the Fiat Prince (Jonathan Bailey). Both witches must now face and test their friendship of any political regime.

Wicked, the first part, premiered in November 2024, and became a global sensation, because it won ten nominations in the 2025 Oscars, including best film, and the statuettes were taken to better costume design and better production design. To date, he has raised 750 million dollars worldwide, being one of the most successful musical films of all time.
