Pop star Miley Cyrus recently spoke openly about her position on raising children, and her statement caused numerous reactions on social networks.
In an interview for ‘The Interview’ published by the New York Times, Miley honestly shared his thoughts about his private life, social pressures and his decision not to see herself as a mother, at least for now.
The famous star emphasized that he currently has no desire to have children and does not see this as something that comes out naturally.
“I don’t need to be a mother. It is a great responsibility, it requires incredible dedication and sacrifice. If it is not your passion, it is difficult to imagine how you can bear everything that parenting entails: insomnia nights, constant concern and years of sacrifice,” said Cyrus.
His opinion was supported by many social media users, who praised their honesty and rational approach. “It is surprising how many people embark on the process of being parents without a real desire or a clear decision,” a user wrote. Others added that there is no shame in not wanting to have children.
