Addison Rae launches his expected album “Addison”

Together with the 12 -song album launch, the Pop sensation premieres the video clip for the theme “Times Like these”. Directed by the legendary photographer Ethan James Green, who also took care of the graphic design of the album, the video implies his debut as director in the world of music.

The concept was creatively directed by Addison Rae and Lexee Smithand carried out by their dream team: Dame Pat McGrath and Jenna Kuchera, Lucas Wilson and Mei. Rolled in different scenarios of New York City, the video combines a natural freshness with great emotional depth. Fans follow Addison from a relaxed boat ride to the scenes between racks and, finally, to their characteristic choreography full of energy.

Fans have waited impatiently the first complete album of Addison Rae after the great success of his first single, “Diet Pepsi”, released in August 2024. This contagious summer anthem obtained a great reception, meant his first entry in the Billboard Hot 100 list and marked the pattern for a series of equally praised singles.

This was followed by the hypnotic “Aquamarine” and the daring and avant -garde “High Fashion”, both accompanied by visually impressive videos that reflect their deep relationship with the fashion world “Fame is a gun”, their most recent launch, have only reinforced their position as one of the new most captivating pop voices.

The album has been produced entirely by Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd, and all the songs have been written by Addison Rae together with Kloser and Anderfjärd. Tove Burman has collaborated as an additional composer in the song “Headphones on.”

Both the press and critics have already begun to acclaim Addison and one of the most prominent pop albums of the year. The New York Times described him as “one of the most emblematic pop releases of the year”, praising Addison’s sweet and misty voice, “as if he sing from the confines of a dream.” Rolling Stone described the songs of the album as “Hypnotic, Trance-Pop, Pulsantes and Lush”, celebrating his vivid imagery and RAE’s ability to “make people dance” without ever taking themselves too seriously.
