Taylor Swift obtained this week a temporary restraining order against a 45 -year -old man who, according to the artist, has harassed her for years and recently presented herself several times at her Los Angeles residence claiming that she has a son with her.
The subject, identified as Brian Jason Wagner, has a criminal record and began to harass the pop star while serving a prison sentence, as detail in the judicial documents to which the Middle TMZ has had access. Swift said Wagner sent extensive letters from jail, in which he told false stories about an alleged romantic relationship between them.

According to the documents, Wagner appeared without invitation at the singer’s house at least twice during the month of May of this year, ensuring the Swift security team that he was going to visit a friend.
It is also pointed out that in July 2024 he had already tried to access the property at least three times. In one of those visits he carried a glass bottle.

The situation became more worrying when the Swift security team discovered that Wagner had manipulated his personal information before the Motorized Vehicle Department (DMV), managing to change his address of his driver’s license for the artist’s home in Los Angeles.
The singer says she has never had any contact with Wagner. In addition to the face -to -face behavior, the stalker would have sent threats to the singer’s staff through emails.
The restraining order forces Wagner to stay at a minimum distance of 100 yards (about 90 meters) of Swift, his home, his workplace and his vehicle. This measure will be valid until June 30, while the court evaluates whether it extends permanently.
This is not the first case of harassment facing the interpreter. In January 2024, another man was arrested for the third time in front of his home in New York. And in July of the same year, an individual was arrested in Germany before a concert of the ‘Eras Tour’ tour for alleged threats against Swift and his partner, the American football player Travis Kelce.
