Maluma’s imitator spoke after accusations of scam of ‘My name is Shakira’: “I have not committed any illicit act”


The relationship of trust between two imitators who shared the stage in the 2023 season of My name is It ended in conflict after a complaint for fraud filed by Andrea Correa, known as Shakira’s imitator, against Klismann Moncada, who personified Maluma.
According to the artist, the dispute arose following a failed investment that involved a considerable sum of money and that, so far, has not been satisfactorily resolved for both parties.

According to what was published by The network, From Caracol Televisión, Andrea Correa and Klismann Moncada forged a friendship during their participation in the popular reality of imitators.
After finishing the program, the singer of the Barranquilla singer made presentations in different countries, including Mexico, and when returning to Colombia in March, he resumed contact with her colleague.
It was then that, as Correa detailed to the middle, he entrusted his interest in investing his savings to obtain greater returns, which gave rise to the proposal that triggered the conflict.
The artist explained that Moncada offered to participate in a digital business that promised high dividends, ensuring that the investment platform generated daily profit percentages depending on the amount provided.
“That generated and generated a percentage depending on what I put on money, the more it obviously put the daily percentage that could be received from that,” Correa said The network.
Initially, the imitator thought of investing forty million pesos, but finally decided to deliver twenty million pesos.
According to his testimony, Moncada told her that the investment could not be made if she did not contribute at least 35 million pesos, which aroused her suspicions and led her to reconsider her participation.
Andrea Correa’s distrust increased when, after two weeks of having delivered the money, he requested the return of the sum inverted.
According to his story, Moncada began to put excuses related to problems in his bank account, impossibility of transferring funds and difficulties to withdraw the money.
“He only told me: ‘Trust me’… but then I started telling me things like ‘I have problems with my account that I cannot get, I cannot withdraw, I cannot transfer. I cannot do anything.’
In the midst of the controversy, Maluma’s imitator appeared on social networks to clarify what happened with an official statement in which he ensures that Correa is incurring an alleged defamation.

“It has been established and are executing measures to protect my good name and integrity, due to defamations that indicate me as’ scammer,” says the imitator’s statement.
In addition, he assures that he has not incurred criminal behaviors, so he rejected the accusations against him.
“I have not committed any scam or illegal act. I categorically reject the accusations against me, which lack foundation and threaten my personal history,” said the imitator.
