Shakira: “Being immigrant in the US means living with constant fear”

The Colombian singer, Shakira, said that being immigrant in the United States (USA) means living with a constant fear.

«Being immigrant in the US means living with constant fear and is painful to see. I just hope they are treated and that we are all treated under the principles of equity and freedom, ”said the 48 -year -old artist, in an interview with the BBC.
“Those same principles of forming this nation and many other large and powerful nations in the world have been forged with the hard work of immigrants,” he said.

He also said that his greatest concern in the US is that, like other countries that have immigration problems; A human solution is found to address these problems.
