Shakira canceled concert in Texas for structural failures in stage infrastructure

After canceling his concert in Los Angeles due to migrant protests, Shakira canceled his presentation with exhausted tickets scheduled for this Friday, June 13 in San Antonio Texas, after detecting structural problems in the infrastructure provided by the contractor company in charge of assembly.
The interpreter informed his followers that the cancellation was due to failures in a support structure (Truss) provided by a outsourced company, which is responsible for installing the stage and the suspension system from which artistic production is developed.
After experiencing similar problems in Boston, the artist demanded the incorporation of a new group of engineers and met directly with the company for an exhaustive safety revaluation. The experts and technicians assured him that they had reinforced the structure and guaranteed “100% the security and reliability” to continue with the presentations.
However, the technical conditions did not meet the required standards, forcing last moment cancellation. Shakira said he was devastated because he cannot appear before his fans, describing the situation as deeply painful.
The tour will continue in Houston as of Monday, while solutions to reprogram the date of San Antonio in the next few days.
