The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) confirmed the discovery of Dr. Indira Gallegos Zepeda, lifelessinside his apartment, in the Santa María La Ribera neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
What happened?
It is about Dr. Indira Gallegos Zepedawho was reported missing yesterday, but she was found dead this Saturday.
The death of Gallegos Zepeda has generated commotion in the medical community and among feminist groups, who demand that the authorities clarify what happened.

Preliminarily, journalist Antonio Nieto pointed out in his X account that the doctor allegedly suffered from bipolarity and would have attacked herself.
According to Nieto, “it is believed that she attacked herself, although @FiscaliaCDMX is investigating under the #feminicide protocol. The doctor suffered from bipolar disorder. “I only had a few days in #CDMX, where I was doing a residency.”
The post was accompanied by a photograph showing syringes allegedly used in the incident.

Graduated from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACh) and third-year resident in Anesthesiology at the Siglo XXI National Medical Center, Indira carried out her medical specialty in Mexico City.
She was reported missing on January 10 after leaving his apartment heading to his workplace, but he never arrived for his classes or his service.
The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) reported that the body of the 33-year-old doctor was found lifeless inside her apartment in the Santa María La Ribera neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office.
According to initial reports, police officers received a report about an unconscious person at the scene. Upon arrival, Paramedics confirmed that the woman no longer had vital signs..
The Public Ministry began an investigation folder under the feminicide protocol and gave intervention to the staff of the General Coordination of Forensic Investigation and Expert Services to gather evidence and carry out the removal of the body.
In addition, agents from the Investigative Police (PDI) interviewed possible witnesses in the area.
According to the logs and the analysis of the building’s video surveillance cameras, no other person was recorded entering the apartment before the discovery.
However, investigations continue following the femicide protocol.
