The singer talked about the constant fear facing the migrant community residing in the United States

The raids by the Customs Immigration and Control Service (ICE) continue to sow fear in migrants, and several celebrities have taken advantage of their status to pronounce in favor of the community, one of them Shakira.
During an interview with BBC held last week, the interpreter spoke about how complicated her native Colombia was to leave and travel to Miami with the dream of looking for a better life, as many people have done it throughout history.

Living as a migrant is living with fear
When questioned about the meaning of living as a migrant in the United States, the singer declared that she was painful, since it was about living under constant fear, remembering the difficult situation where several families are currently going through Trump’s recent orders.
