The property of Taylor Swift, Known as High Watch, it is at the top of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic, about East Beach in Watch Hill, an exclusive coastal area of Westerly, Rhode Island. The mansion was previously owned by Rebekah West Harkness, heiress of Standard Oil and eccentric Philanthropist, whose story inspired swift to write The Last Great American Dynastyincluded in his acclaimed album Folklore (2020).
Since the singer acquired the property in 2013 for 17.75 million dollars in a cash transaction, the house has captured both for its history and for the famous parties that it has housed, especially the celebrations of July 4. During those events, Swift has received celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, and Haim sisters, among others.
