After seven years of waiting, Cardi made the official announcement on Monday (June 23) along with the gloomy cover of the album. “Am I The Drama? My new album comes out on September 19! Praenchar Link in Bio,” he wrote.
The 32 -year -old rapper suggested being in album mode on Sunday (June 22) with an Instagram post in which he narrated the arduous road that took her to this point in her successful race.
“Seven years and the time came. Seven years of love, light and loss,” Cardi said in the video. “Seven years I gave them grace, but now I give them hell. I learned that the power does not occur, it is taken. I am driving feathers and no more tears. I am not back, I am further. I am not your villain, I am your karma. The moment is here. The moment is now.”
Cardi left his mark in the world of rap with his unique 2018 album INVASION OF PRIVACYwhich achieved two No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 (now has a total of five) and won the Grammy for the best rap album in 2019. Each song on his debut album is at least certified as a platinum by the Riaa.
The new album arrives shortly after Cardi launched its powerful single “Outsis” on Friday (June 19), preparing the stage for the LP, which will also include hits such as “Up” and “Wap” on its list of 23 songs.
It has been a long way for both Cardi B and its base of followers, known as Bardi Gang, until reaching this second project. In May, Cardi said the wait was due to the fact that the verses of the guest artists were waiting.
