If you ever dreamed that your love for Minecraft would take you far, this is your time. The Minecraft intercollegiales 2025an international tournament where high school students will use their creativity to build Formula 1 circuits … within the pixelated world that we all know.

Yes, it sounds crazy, but it’s real. AND Peru is part of the challenge.

Organized by Globant through its program The Inspire Garagethis event seeks that boys and girls from 12 to 15 years They join in teams to design racing clues in Minecraft, solve cultural challenges and propose ideas for sustainable cities. All while competing with schools from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and, of course, Peru.

Who can participate?

  • High school students (of any type of school)
  • Equipment of 3 to 5 people, with a responsible teacher or adult like tutor
  • That live in one of the selected cities, such as Lima, Medellín, Santiago, Buenos Aires or Mexico City

What is done in the competition?

In the first stage, the teams recreate a formula 1 circuit within Minecraft, but adapted to their city. In addition, they must answer questions about local culture and apply concepts of urban sustainability. The winners of each country advance to the Grand International Final, where they will design a completely original track.
