Dolphins deaths in the Sucre state continues to increase. During the weekend, two significant incidents were recorded, making a difference by not limiting only Carúpanz, Bermúdez municipality of the Eastern region.

The first finding took place on the beach Uveros II of Carúpano, where a dolphin was found in an advanced state of decomposition.
The relevant exhumations were carried out, although so far the results have not been made public.
On the other hand, in the Ribero municipality it was reported that municipal firefighters and local settlers managed to rescue a dolphin that was stranded on the sea.
This incident occurred specifically in the La Posada sector, in Guacarapo. According to the reports, the Dolphin presented a right eye injury and a wound in the fin on the same side.
It is important to note that in recent months several dead dolphins have been reported on different beaches of Carúpano, this being the first case documented in another town of the Sucre state.
