Through one of his speeches, Nicolás Maduro referred to what was supposedly contained in the blue wallet that was taken from María Corina Machado in the midst of the detention suffered on January 9 in the streets of Caracas and mentioned Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, who responded in a mocking tone through social networks.

The controversy over Machado’s blue wallet was continued by Nicolás Maduro, who made reference to it in the middle of a speech. “Only Bukele and I know, the secret of the blue wallet,” said the Venezuelan dictator.

Then, the Chavista leader hinted that the Salvadoran had been in Caracas. “He came quietly, he didn’t want it to be known that he was here, because he brought very good news”stated Maduro, who then made reference to one of the radical left-wing groups in El Salvador. “The best news I can tell you is that the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) is part of the global anti-fascist movement,” added the Chavista.

The FMLN is an organization that went from being a guerrilla group in the 1980s to being a political party, coming to power in the Central American nation in 2009 through President Mauricio Funes.

Given these words, Nayib Bukele responded through his X account with a kiss emoji replicating the video of the Venezuelan dictator’s statements.
