Sheinbaum stressed the commercial relationship between the two countries, noting that there is no deficit between Mexico and the United States, highlighting that both are strategic partners in a competitive global panorama.

Regarding the immigration issue, the president recalled the existence of a high -level work table, led by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, focused especially on protecting Mexican’s human rights across the border, thus marking another coordination front between the two nations.
