Mystery surrounds Mom disappearance, there are many clues that something very strange happened

The family of Jessica Chavarría Arce, 45, is living a true nightmare, because for about a month they know nothing about her and what seems more strange is that her partner left Costa Rica as if she were fleeing something.

This situation is very worrying for Jessica’s loved ones, especially for her children, because they ensure that she would have been a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her partner, an American named Byrd, so they fear that she has something to do with her disappearance.

This was told to La Teja Keylin Chavarría, sister of Jessica, who said that the last time she was seen was on January 3, when she arrived in Amparados de Alajuela to collect money from a house that rented her to her ex -partner.

Keylin said Jessica had a relationship with Byrd for two years and had enough time to live in the house of this located in Puntarenas.

“Some time ago she began to suffer certain physical aggressions from him, because, apparently, he took a lot and also my sister took her to that world. She told me that when she became very drunk, she attacked her with kicks and blows. ”

Children rescued her

According to Keylin, the drop that spilled the glass occurred in December last year, when Jessica had to call her children to ask them for help. Chavarría is the mother of three children of 23, 28 and 32.

“In December it was the strongest aggression, my nephews went to rescue her an morning after she called my niece telling her that this subject wanted to kill her, that she had hit her with a bat and that she had left the beach, Because they lived near there.

“My nephews went for her and found her quite beaten. One of my nephews hit the subject of fury that felt to see the mother like that, but she stopped him. ”

After that situation, Jessica returned home in Amparados de Alajuela, where, even, she spent Christmas with her loved ones.

Keylin mentioned that in those days his niece tried to make a complaint against Byrd, but failed to do so, because the authorities asked them full name and they only knew their first name.

“My sister was very afraid and like I didn’t want to do it (put the complaint), that’s why I told her that she already had to put a restraining order, that she couldn’t continue like this, but she didn’t say anything.”

Message lit the alarms

Apparently, a friend of the American contacted Jessica and told him that Byrd was very bad and asked him to please talk to him. According to Keylin, his sister had contact with the subject again and at the end he returned home on December 28 last year.

“My nephew spoke with her (on January 8) through the phone of that subject and my nephew said that she was very rare, who does not know if she was drugged or something like that, because he asked her what she had and she alone I told him that everything was fine, that he no longer worried, that if something happened to him they are already big. ”

According to Keylin, his family began to suspect that something could have happened to Jessica following a strange message that Byrd sent to one of Jessica’s children before blocking him on WhatsApp.

“My nephew put a message telling him that he was urgent to talk to the mother and the subject that until the next day he replied, that for us he was the trigger to think that something was happening, because he told the mother who came out a Work opportunity that he wanted to take advantage of, that this was her priority and that is why they ended her relationship and that if she communicated with him, he was going to give her the message. ”

Chavarría said that this message made no sense, because her sister did not work for 15 years and having a job was impossible for him not having a cell phone.

He left the country

Given such a situation, Jessica’s loved ones filed the respective complaint with Oij, but their children went much further and traveled to Byrd’s house, in Puntarenas, to look for her.

“It turns out that they realized that the guy was gone. A boy who was taking care of the property told them that he had left Costa Rica on January 25 and that he was going badly, because he was a crutch. ”

The concern increased even more for something that that boy told them that he had seen recently.

“The boy said that his attitude was very rare and that two days before leaving, he even taught my nephew where he was sitting and with a gun, and that the only thing he said was: ‘I here, Waiting for the children of Jessica ‘, but that he did not understand what he said, because he did not know about my sister. ”

The OIJ confirmed that on Wednesday Alajuela Oij agents raided the American’s house in the Puntarenas oak to try to gather evidence for the investigation that is carried out in the case of Jessica.
