The diocesan secretariat of spirituality of the archbishopric offered yesterday, a conference on the Hakuna movement within the cycle entitled “Sinodality and different spiritual experiences, yesterday and today, in our church that walks in Valencia”, which serves as preparation for The 2025 jubilee.
The conference was entitled “The new ecclesial realities and the Hakuna Movement” and was given by the diocesan priest Santiago Piñeiro, a member of the private association of faithful. In addition, they offered their testimonies two more members of Hakuna.
The next conference will be on February 16, entitled “The announcement of Jesus Christ: Cursillos de Cristiandad”, and will be given by Mons. José Ángel Saiz Meneses, Archbishop of Seville, this time at 5:30 p.m.
On April 24, it will be addressed “Carmelitan spirituality today”, by Carmelita Emilio José Martín; And on May 29 it will be the last one, taught by the Franciscan José Luis Coll, about “Franciscan spirituality today.”
Other training activities
The diocesan secretariat of spirituality also organizes a series of spiritual formation activities, for priests, consecrated and lay life, with the main objective of “deepening Christian spirituality on the way to a synodal church, favoring the encounter with God with spiritual exercises and prayer retreats, and the encounter with the Word of God through the divine Lectio. ”
This February has organized the Divine Lectio course “The Love of Jesus Christ”, in the Paulinas Library of Valencia, on Wednesday 7, 14, 21 and 29, and spiritual contemplation exercises, from 5 to 8, in the house of Madre de Dios de Moncada (Prayer Group of the Jesús Maestro Parish of Valencia).
