Criticism and claims by surprises in your Medellín shows

The long -awaited ‘Women no longer cry world tour’ of Shakira He has left a trail of emotions found in his passage through Colombia, fanning a debate between fans of different cities.
While the return of the Barranquilla star to his homeland generated great expectation, the surprises he offered in his concerts in Medellínin contrast to what lived in Bogotá and Barranquillathey did not go unnoticed and unleashed a wave of comments, from admiration to the claim.
Despite the undeniable affection that the Colombian public professes by the artist, a part of his followers in Bogotá and, especially, in his native Barranquilla, they did not hide their disappointment before what they perceived as a differentiated treatment compared to the only city that originally had a scheduled date: Medellín.
The most sound critic arrived from Barranquilla, by the renowned journalist Diva Jessurum, who knows Shakira since the beginning of his career.
The communicator did not hide her “discomfort” by perceiving that Medellín received a treatment superior to that of her hometown. According to Jessurum, during the event at the Metropolitan Stadium in Barranquilla, Shakira went to the public in English, omitted the tribute to the Barranquilla Carnival and his symbols that many expected, interpreted fragments of their successes, the wait was prolonged and there was no artist, in addition to breaking the announced schedules.

In favor and against the artist
Between Saturday 12 and Monday, April 14, Shakira’s name became a trend in social networksfeeding a discussion about what happened in its recent presentations.
The contrasts were evident: Bogotá, the city where tickets for its two dates reached the highest prices; Barranquilla, his crib, where he enjoyed all the comforts for his two shows; and Medellín, who after a postponement due to technical and security problems, was rewarded with two concerts and surprises that generated both enthusiasm in the attendees and criticism by the absent.

The aforementioned postponements in Lime (for health reasons), Santiago de Chile (due to technical problems) and Medellín (for technical and security issues) forced a reconfiguration of the schedule. Thus, two dates in Lima were defined for November, three concerts in Santiago at the beginning of April and two presentations in Medellín in mid -April.
It was precisely in these two additional concerts in the Medellín Atanasio Girardot where Shakira offered unique moments, absent in his presentations in Barranquilla and Bogotá.
On Saturday, April 12, he surprised the public inviting the stage to Malumainterpreting both classics of his repertoire and special versions of his most recent releases, which had not been included in the rest of the tour. On Sunday 13, he repeated the dose of emotion by sharing the stage with Carlos Vives, generating memorable moments in a concert that was not even in the initial plans announced in 2024.

This situation did not go unnoticed for social network users, who driven by regionalism and the feeling of disparity, flooded platforms with messages of various kinds.
The main claims came from those who invested considerable sums in tickets from the beginning and felt disappointed by not witnessing a show with the same surprises that those who bought their tickets were late for a concert that was not originally planned.
