Jennifer Lopez and Robert Zemeckis will collaborate in an adaptation of ‘The Last Mrs. Parrish’
Los Angeles (USA), APR 17 (EFE) .- Jennifer Lopez and director Robert Zemeckis (‘Forrest Gump’) will collaborate in an adaptation of ‘The Last Mrs. Parrish’ for Netflix, Deadline reported.
According to sources consulted by the specialized environment, Zemeckis will direct this version of Liv Constantine’s novel, while the singer will star in the film.
The film, currently in development, follows the story of a scammer, played by Jennifer Lopez, who plans to infiltrate the accommodated marriage of the Parrish with the aim of seducing the husband and occupying the wife of the wife as the new Mrs. Parrish, without knowing that the life of the current wife is much darker and more complex of what he ever imagined.
The script will be carried out by Andrea Berloff and John Gatins, the latter Oscar nominated by ‘Flight’, also directed by Zemeckis.
