It all started on Friday, January 3, when Marcelo Molina took his sister on a motorcycle to work, in the department of San Lorenzo. Thence, He was followed by the accused in a VW Saveiro van that belonged to the victim. The thing is that one of the women had the keys and drove it frequently.
At some point that day, the suspects completed the crime, although the exact place where he was killed remains a mystery. What is known is that they later moved the body to the property where they worked as landlords, located at kilometer 308 of the Rosario-Córdoba highway.
There, according to the investigation, They cremated the body and threw it in a garbage container. The next day, a waste company moved that container to Pérez landfill, sealing any hope of finding his remains.
Crime and robbery: for Justice, the motive was economic
The macabre story did not end there. While Molina’s remains turned to ashes, the murderers They returned to their house in Roldán and ransacked it.: They took household appliances, tools, a carbine, documentation and even his truck.
Part of these objects were found in a raid on the home of the suspects, identified as Cintia Marilin C., Romina Daniel C. and Cristian L.while others, such as the cell phone and the gun, appeared near the Coronda River, about 90 kilometers away.
On the other hand, the police officers of the Homicide Division They found burnt pallets and what appeared to be remains of a bonfire inside the property where the body was discarded.
Meanwhile, a person who was running through the rural area of Roldán called the police to report that he had seen belongings. When they checked them, there was Molina’s document, his driver’s license, debit cards, the carbine that had been stolen from him, but the body was not there.
Prosecutor Spelta was forceful and said that the chances of finding him are few, but he assured that they are looking for the lifeless man. Despite this, he reported that the search operations to find him will not conclude.
In parallel, the three suspects were detained and investigated this Tuesday at the Rosario Criminal Justice Center, where they gave a confusing version: They said that Molina would have wanted to abuse one of the accused. “They tried to justify themselves, but such abuse was not proven,” said the prosecutor.
In that sense, they are investigating the motive for the crime, which everything indicates was economic. The detainees were charged with the crime of “homicide qualified by the premeditated participation of three people and by criminis causae”.
