The lights go out in Guadalajara sand! Katy Perry, Carlos Rivera and untouchable concerts for failures in the enclosure
Mexico City.-In a totally unexpected turn, Zignia Live announced the cancellation of the expected concerts of Carlos Rivera, untouchable and Katy Perry in the Guadalajara Arena, because the place does not yet meet the necessary safety and comfort conditions for the attendees.
The news fell as a cold water bucket for thousands of fans and also surprised the artistic environment.
Carlos Rivera was going to appear on April 25, followed by untouchable on 26, and Katy Perry with two shows on May 1 and 2.
However, the organizing company reported that construction works have not been completed, which prevents the realization of these shows.
In an official statement, the company said:
“We want to give them events with the level of quality and security they deserve. Although we have worked intensely with our teams, we are not yet ready to receive them. Very soon they can live the experience they expect from us.”
And the tickets? This will be the reimbursement
For those who bought their tickets through the web, the refund will be automatic and will not have to do any procedure.
On the other hand, those who acquired their tickets at physical points or other channels must send an email to (Email Protected) from April 22, 2025, with: Complete purchase data and proof of payment.
Disappointed fans and pause expectations
The cancellation has generated a large wave of disappointment, especially among Katy Perry’s followers, who planned to present his new album “143” in Guadalajara.
Although the concerts will not be held for now, the pop star and the other artists are expected to reschedule their dates once the enclosure is ready to open its doors.
After the news, the interpreter of “Hot N Cold” spoke in her Instagram stories. “I wish I could fix this, but you are out of my control. You mean a lot to me and we have shared such a beautiful path that I will be thinking about how I can create something special for Guadalajara fans in the future. I love you all,” he said about it.
