Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez show Blue Origin’s flight costumes that contribute “spicy to space
Katy Perry shared an image of the space costumes that she, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King and other members of the Blue Origin women’s team will carry on Monday.
Perry published a group photo on Instagram, writing in the photo foot: “Happy International Day of Human Space Flight. Always astonished by the Universe and its alignment.”
In the photo, Perry, Sánchez, Gayle, the scientists and activists Amanda Nguyen and Aisha Bowe and the film producer Kerianne Flynn, all wear dark blue -color sets, adorned with a NASA patch, a patch with her last name and the Blue Origin logo on one arm.
Sanchez also shared a video between the reaction of the first reaction to the suit, entering a room with his fiance and owner of Blue Origin Jeff Bezos, with the people cheering their appearance.

The journalist showed some more details of the suit, which she helped to design, including flared pants, with a white feathers design at the bottom of the left leg, part of the Blue Origin logo.
In another part of the clip, Sánchez leaves a car, stretches with the suit and says: “Well, they are comfortable. Okay, that sure.”

He also shared a video of women posing for the photo shared by Perry.
In an interview with The New York Times, Sánchez explained his participation in the redesign of the space suit.

“Normally, you know, these costumes are made for a man. Then they are made to measure for a woman,” he told the magazine.
Sánchez contacted Fernando García and Laura Kim, co -founders of the Monse brand, who are also creative directors of Oscar de la Renta, to rebuild the look.
“I think the costumes are elegant, but they also contribute some spicy space,” said the 55 -year -old man.
He added something that Perry said: “We are putting the ‘A-‘ in Astronaut.”

Perry made the occurrence in an interview with Elle at the beginning of the month, in which he said: “The space will finally be glamorous. Let me tell you something. If I could take the glam with me, I would do it. We are going to put the ‘A-‘ in astronaut.”
Perry, Sánchez and the team will take off on April 14, and for 11 minutes they will reach 62 miles above the earth, within the limits of its atmosphere. Actually, women will not reach orbit.
The group of the next NS-31 space flight will be the first crew formed exclusively by women who will launch into space since Russian astronaut Valentina Tereshkova flew into a solo mission in 1963, according to Blue Origin.
