Before her mother’s announcement, the singer did not hesitate to show her support and asked him for joking not to reveal secrets.

But it has not been so, because in the book published this week, Tina makes a great personal revelation that brings to light a recent episode of his life related to his health. In a promotional interview of the book, he has not been able to talk about his diagnosis of breast cancer in stage one that has changed his way of being. As he told Gayle King In ‘CBS Mornings’, doctors discovered two tumors in the left breast after having delayed a review. «I have always tried to take care of myself. I just couldn’t believe it. It is important not to neglect mammograms, ”he told ‘People’.

As he acknowledged, the businesswoman delayed her appointment for a mammogram due to Covid, forgot to reprogram it and it was not until July of last year when she went to the doctor and received the news of her diagnosis. Then, he was in the final phase of his memoir and after thinking seriously, he decided to include this episode of his life in the autobiography. «I hesitated to share that experience because I am very reserved. But I decided to share it because I think it contains many lessons for other women. And I think, as women, sometimes we are so busy and get tangled up so much and run from one place to another, but you must go to the test, ”he said.

Now, think that he could have been late for the diagnosis. “If I had not done the test on time, I shudder to think about what could have happened to me.” As he says, Beyoncé “took the news well” and became the greatest support of his mother, who told him that they would take together to overcome the disease. After undergoing surgery last year to remove the tumor, Tina can affirm that she is “cancer free and I am incredibly blessed because God allowed me to detect it in time.”

In his book, Knowles advises the rest of the women to undergo early controls that can detect any possible tumor before the disease grows. “I did not know that stadium 0. I could have detected it in stadium 0 if the mammography had not skipped,” he says to “give hope to people.” “What scares me now is not to make the most of every day that I have left in this life,” says who after the operation contracted an infection that brought the concern for his state of health again. Beyoncé accompanied his mother again in the process and insisted that he rest to recover completely.
