Addison Rae has been able to “explore his deep desires” following his success in Tiktok.
The 24 -year -old star jumped at Tiktok in 2019, quickly becoming one of the most followed people on the video exchange platform, but has made the transition to music and acting in recent years, and does not regret the route he has taken.
The interpreter of ‘Diet Pepsi’ told Elle: “All that took me where I am now. What makes me funny is that people think that these passions are new. First of all, nobody knew who I was before entering the university, so I thought: ‘How can you know what my interests were before?’ People worry enough to see my videos and follow me, and therefore gave me the freedom to explore the deep desires that I have always had.
Addison understands why people have criticized their music. But the pop star insists that his music is a faithful reflection of his real life.
Addison, who will publish his debut album at the end of this year, explained: “I understand perfectly why people may feel that this is not what I am. But it is like: ‘No, maybe I didn’t want to show who it really was because I was afraid to face that, and I was afraid of what people would say about it.'”
Instead, Addison no longer cares about his critics and insists that he feels “proud” of his musical success.
He said: “As long as I feel that every day I do things that I feel proud and inspire people, I don’t complain. I am successful in what I want to do. I have definitely gone much further than I expected.”
