Casper Smart, known for his passage as a dancer, choreographer and ex -boyfriend of Jennifer López, is in the center of a legal controversy in Los Angeles.
According to recent reports, the city prosecutor’s office presented two positions for “minor crimes” against him, related to unauthorized cannabis activities.
According to the TMZ portal, Smart is being accused of “Participate in illicit commercial marijuana activities” and “operate without having a temporary permit or license”. Everything originated after a police intervention that took place last December 23, just two days before Christmas.
That morning, Los Angeles Police officers appeared at their home after receiving a notice that indicated a possible marijuana culture inside the property. In the place, the authorities found Smart accompanied by a woman whose identity has not been revealed. Although she was not involved, the choreographer does face the legal consequences of what was found.
It should be remembered that Casper Smart reached great notoriety not only for his artistic career, but also for his relationship with Jennifer López, which began in 2011 and concluded discreetly in 2016, “without drama”, as media reported at that time. During his time together, the dancer even was part of television projects as a jury in dance competition programs.
